Get Winning Results with Google Adwords by Avoiding These 3 Fatal Mistakes!

Don't feel bad if you're a PPC affiliate and you just can't seem to get your pay per click campaign off the ground. I've been right where you are and it's really not your fault.

Why? Well for one thing, did you know that only 2% of affiliates make it to the big leagues? That leaves a whopping 98% failure rate. What's mainly driving that 98% into failure is poor pay per click campaign management.

So, I have outlined for you 3 crucial mistakes to avoid, right now, so you can start optimizing your pay per click strategies and instantly make more money!

Mistake #1 - Fatal Keyword Advertising Mistakes

Having a properly set up Google Adwords campaign with converting Google Ads and landing pages simply isn't enough anymore. The competition is rising which demands more creativity from your part if you really want winning results with google adwords.

Try branching off from the normal variations of the one root keyword, which is called going "deep". Instead, come up with as many synonyms for the keyword as possible. This is called going "broad".

How you avoid the 'fatal keyword mistake" is to bid on your broad list first. Once you see which keywords are converting, go deep with those and bid on them.

Mistake #2 - Stop Killing Your Winning Campaigns

I have to admit, I've made this mistake a few times at the beginning. After reading this, you'll see that this winning strategy makes a whole lot more sense - even making you feel like a ditz (like me).

Here's what I'm talking about...

A lot of people might think that once they have a campaign up and running and it's getting conversions, the best thing to do is lower your bids, right? WRONG!!!!

Example:

I've got a winning campaign at .20/click. Seeing that it's converting, I decide to lower my bids to .10/click. Before you know it, it's been a couple of weeks and I've lost a couple hundred bucks.

How to avoid this is to simply realize that popular keywords cost more! So, if you lower your bid on those, the only thing you're doing is lowering your page rank.

The best thing to do is to view your campaign and see which adgroups are above position eight (there are 8 ads per page - so, positions 1-8 are on the first page) and increase your bids by 30% on those adgroups.

Mistake #3 - Not Staying Focused

Once you've found a winning campaign, don't go and repeat the same game plan for 10 other niches. Make sure you stick to your affiliate promotion and focus on consistently improving and optimizing it until it's an automated money machine!

Don't spread yourself too thin. The key here is to find the winner and build it into a powerhouse before moving onto your next promotion.

So, to recap...

Build a broad keyword list by creating as many synonyms for your keyword phrases and bid on those first. Once you start seeing which keywords are converting better than the others, go deep by building variations of those one root keywords and bid on them.

Don't kill your winning campaigns by immediately lowering your bids when you see it converting. Instead, analyze the page ranking on your adgroups to see if it's best to either raise or lower your bids according to their position.

Finally, stay focused on the campaigns that are winning. Don't go and immediately copy the same strategy for 10 other new pay per click campaigns. Just focus on the ones that are getting results and optimize them to their top potential. Once the engine is running, you're on your way to automated money heaven.
