Buying a domain name doesn't have to be expensive. In fact, it doesn't have to cost you much money at all. It is actually very easy to register a domain name for cheap.
Most people do not like to be careless with their money. While there are some wealthy individuals who would not even bat an eye at dropping $100 on a luxury item, most of us find it necessary to budget these expenses. And some of the most wealthy people are as such because they were very careful in regards to their expenses. So if you want to get a new domain with a quality webhost, there is no reason to spend $50 or more for webhosting and domain registration when you can get the same quality service for a much lower price.
Nowadays, you can spend less than $20 when registering a new domain and purchasing a webhost. While you can use two different companies to register your domain and host it, respectively, some webhosts will actually cover the cost of registration for you. Depending on how much your monthly webhost expenses are, this could make domain registration cost you less than $10 upon sign-up. Other factors in the cost of domain registration might also include which domain extension you select (.com, .net, etc).
There are a wide variety of different registrars (companies that register your domain name for you) and webhosts available on the market, so there's no reason to settle for the first one you find. Savvy shoppers should take some time to research the different prices, services and features of the different companies. Make sure you are selecting a reputable business that provides you good service, a number of features and good customer support all at a reasonable price. Also keep an eye open for specials: some domain registrars may wave the first year sign-up costs.
Register a cheap domain is really quite simple. All it takes is a little time to shop around and see what's available. If you want to buy your own domain, but do not have a lot of money to throw around, you should be satisfied in knowing that buying a new domain can be very inexpensive, as long as you take the time do your research.

Best Landing Page Template Designs - What Separates Great Landing Page Templates From Lousy Ones?
When building a landing page for advertising purposes, such as with pay-per-click ads, there are a number of factors to look for in a template before you create it or consider purchasing it. In the following paragraphs, we will look at some of the factors you want to make sure appears in any design you consider using.
First thing, what are the colors? The best converting landing pages tend to have a white or off white background and black or dark colored font. This is because it is considered easier on the eyes. This is especially true if your landing page will have a lot of content. If your design will have more images, then it may be ok to go with a darker colored background, but if you are unsure, stick with a white background and dark font.
Next you should analyze what the template has in the top 300-600 pixels of the page. This is the area considered "above the fold". This is the area your visitor will see first. If it has a big header graphic, a menu and other unneeded items, then it is not optimized right. In theory, you want to reserve the top 300-600 pixels for your attention grabber. This could be a headline or some other call to action. It will need to refer back to whatever the message was in the advertisement or link that brought the customer to your website.
Another item to look for is the font type and size. Since your audience will have a broad range of eye sight abilities and computer monitor types, it is best to go with a classic font such as Arial, Times or Verdana with at minimum a 12 point size. You may even want to consider making the font a 14. Do not bold or capitalize all your text, but you can occasionally use these tactics to draw out certain words or phrases on your page.
Finally, you want to look for a landing page template that is easy for you to use. This may sound basic, but you do not want to use a template that will require you to purchase some piece of software or learn some programming language to use. Find a template that you can easily edit with a simple HTML editor or an open-source program like Wordpress. You want to be able to add the content, setup a sales process and implement a tracking system on the template. If you can't do these things, find a different sales page template!

Beware of Internet Marketing Myths & Lies About Making Money Onliine
Chances are you have probably heard of heaps of folks saying things like "making money on line is a complete waste of time", "there is no real money to be made online", "make money over internet will never work" and so many others negative words coming from people who do not really comprehend in the truth in the internet marketing world. Yes, it is a sad but statistical fact that close to 95% of all internet marketers fail to make money on line. With such a ridiculously high failure rate, no wonder most folks are convinced that making money over the internet is a big fat lie. The fact is, internet marketing does work, but only for those who know and understand the rules of the game. In any type of business, it is always the big dogs that own the largest portion of the pie, these are the people who know the industry at the back of their hands. These are the elite group of individuals who have learned and mastered vital knowledge on how their industry works. And in the online business arena, that is precisely why some internet marketing gurus make a fortune online while most internet newbies don't even make a single cent at all. Simply because the people who make the thousands or millions of online cash knew intimate details about how this business actually works. And those who don't tend to fabricate "Lies" to hide the fact that they have failed. So what exactly are these so called internet myths & lies? And how we can avoid them when we are just starting out on our internet marketing journey.
Below here are my top 5 Internet Marketing Myths & Lies that you should be aware of :
(1) You Can Make Easy Money From The Internet.
Many individuals actually believe online ads that states that you can simply sign up, make fast & easy money by doing nothing at all, totally unbelievable if you ask me. In my book, this is exactly what sets the unrealistic apart from the realistic, the success stories from the failures. Throughout the internet, you probably have came across stories of how certain individual are able to make 5 to 6 figure incomes working 3 to 4 hours a day. These stories may be true but did you know that most of these folks probably failed numerous times before they finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel and start to really make money on line? Learning from their mistakes and never giving up at the first setback is what makes most these folks so successful. The truth is that overnight success doesn't really happen just like that, it usually takes months if not years to materialize.
(2) You Need A Large Capital To Start An Online Business On The Internet.
Unlike in the case of an offline business, where you usually require an substantial startup capital for physical overheads like office rental, equipment, raw materials etc. In the internet marketing world, you can actually start your very first online business with minimal cost or even no cost. You probably have heard of cases where ordinary folks are actually making online cash blogging about things they are passionate about. Yes, blogging for monetary returns can be considered an online business. If you have an internet connection, all you need to do sign up for a free blogging account at Blogger or Wordpress, and you can blog your way to monetary gains using Google ad sense or promoting some popular affiliate product related to your niche. Having said that, setting up a blogging account might be free but that doesn't guarantee that you will make money online. Be aware that setting up an online blogging business and managing a successful & profitable one are two completely different stories.
(3) You Need To Know HTML, Web Programming And Graphic Designing In Order To Start Your Online Business.
Technically speaking, it is true that you don't require to know any of these at all, "outsourcing" is a term many internet marketers are familiar with. In fact, one of the biggest shockers was the discovery that some of the biggest internet marketing gurus today do not even know basic HTML, yet they are raking in 6 figures every month. They compensate their lack of technical knowledge either by outsourcing for professional help or establishing Joint Ventures with other individuals who can help them in certain aspects of their online business. In my opinion, the main reason these gurus are earning more money than the rest of the pack lies with 2 simple factors. Firstly, they have intimate knowledge of their niche market and know how to market and reach more people online. And secondly, they only focus their valuable time on what brings them success instead of dwelling in time consuming technical issues where it can be easily outsourced. If you want to create your website without having to learn HTML, web programming and graphic designing skills, just get someone else to do it for you. Popular sites like Getafreelancer and Elance are a big favorites with online business owners who do not have the technical knowledge to set up a website themselves.
(4) There Is No Need To "Sell" Anything To Make Money Online.
Potential online business owners who hate selling are often attracted to online ads that read "no selling required". However, just stop and ponder for a moment, is there any logic to this statement at all? Do you seriously think you can make money without selling anything at all? If nobody buys anything then how do we make money? Usually these get rich quick programs are run by fly-by-night con-man and involves a certain joining fee and focuses on recruiting more and more new members to make money. However, some folks might argue that in the affiliate marketing business, affiliates also don't actually sell directly to the customers. Instead, the main role of an affiliate is to show your potential customers what your affiliate product can offer and how it can solve their problem or change their lives for the better and leave the "selling" to the main distributor instead. Probably this is what internet marketers refer to as making a sale without doing any selling anything at all!
(5) There is No Need To Build A Mailing List At All.
Statistics have shown that customers have to view your ad or product offer an average of seven times before they will consider buying it. Without setting up an opt in form to capture your potential customers details is like saying, "I don't want your business". Once your customer leaves your website, the chances of them ever returning is slim. Remember, your mailing list is just as important to you as the "Yellow Pages" is to a conventional offline business. Most gurus will preach that "The money is in the list", but in my opinion, this prevalent phrase should read more like "The money is in the relationship with your list" instead. Building a mailing list is only the initial building block, interacting and establishing a good relationship with your list should be the real concept behind getting making back end sales. Once you are able to establish your credibility, people in your list will be more susceptible to what you have to offer and subsequently increasing your chances of making a sale.
In my book, these are just some of the more common Internet myths and lies floating around the internet. In fact, there are a lot more Internet lies you should be aware and stay away from. As a potential online business owner, you got to be smart in order to really achieve online success and make money on line. Remember achieving Online Success is like enlightenment, it is a path and not a destination.

Choosing a Domain Name - 3 Must Know Tips
The 3 essential elements to consider when choosing a domain, or website, name are:
1. Persons name
2. Brand or company name
3. Keyword search name
If you are registering your name, brand or companies' name, then you don't need to consider other keywords for selecting your domain name. People and companies generate traffic to their websites with target marketing, not through search engines, unless of course the actual person or brand name becomes a well known name that becomes searched.
If it's a well known name or common English word or phrase that is searched, then the chances are extremely high that the website name will already have been registered and will then be available for sale through a web broker. Because of this fact, we are going to focus on choosing a name using keywords.
1. Choose A Name That Is Memorable
The most obvious aim is to come up with a name that is memorable. This may sound like a difficult task, but if you think about your business, what it represents you may surprise yourself and come up with a unique idea that hasn't been registered.
2. Use Three Words Or Less
You want to keep in mind the length and number of words that you end up with. A golden rule is not to use more than three words.
3. Keep The Length Under 15 Characters
You will find that the less the number of characters that you use the better. This will help make it easier for people to remember who your business is. Less than 15 characters if preferred but keeping it to fewer than 15 characters will depend on the length of the actual keywords you are using.

Using Web Templates
Templates are very useful and save a lot of time when you are creating a new layout for your website. However nine times out ten people choose web templates which end up being completely different from the image they had in their minds. So I have put some tips for you take on board when considering which template you are going to use.
The first point is to not use the popular template as it will destroy the image of your website. As it won't be as unique as you wanted it to be there for you will be risking your website in fading behind the scene with the masses. So I will always look for templates which are rare and have a unique angle to them.
Templates are designed and created to save you time and money. The biggest mistake I find is when people get a template and try to customize it beyond recognition. Templates are there for you to input your details and the appropriate title.
However this might sound a bit cliche, but I have come across templates where they have been appropriate to my web page I was designing but it had for example a gardening logo on the top. If you come to this scenario all you need to do is find the appropriate image which relates to the design you're trying to create. But don't forget not to change the whole template as it will lose it uniqueness.
Some people just simply choose the wrong template due to time pressure or they choose the prettiest ones without considering their target audience. Templates are more important than what you thing, as they are the foundation to your page so there for they are the first stepping stone to creating the atmosphere for your website.
Take your time in choosing the right template as it will make your website much more unique and easier to the eye.

The Key to Internet Marketing Articles - Keywords and Backlinks
Internet marketing articles require certain criteria to be effective. These articles are used to promote a product or service. They are usually informative articles that provide content as well as recommend a product. There is normally a link which takes the reader to a website where he can receive more information about the product and purchase it, if he wishes.
Internet marketing articles are written by internet marketers and distributed to article directories, so that they can be indexed by the search engines and get exposure on the internet. They are posted on social bookmarking sites, where other websites can find them and add them to their websites. They are also distributed to ezines, or internet newsletters, so that they can be distributed to their subscribers. All these are ways of getting exposure to your article and your product.
What Are Keywords?
The way that people find these articles on the internet is by searching on Google and other search engines. They type in certain words that will bring up the information desired. These are called keywords.
The different market groups are referred to as niches. Every niche searches for different keywords, the ones that relate to the products that they buy. For example, the dog training niche will search for certain keywords, the weight loss niche searches for other keywords, and the internet marketing information niche also has different keywords that are prevalent in their searches.
How to Find Keywords
In order for an internet marketing article to be effective, the first thing you have to do is find an effective keyword in your niche. You have to research which words your niche is typing in the search engines to bring up information. Then you use this keyword to write your article around it.
To find these keywords it is necessary to use a keyword research tool. These tools do the research for you and help you find the keywords that will be profitable. You have to find the keywords that have a fair amount of searches per month, but that do not have too much competition from other websites.
How to Use Keywords
Your internet marketing article should contain the keyword in your title, as well as in the first sentence of the first paragraph, and the first sentence of the last paragraph. You may insert it a few more times inside the body of the article, but do not overdo it. Your article should read well. Do not sacrifice easy reading for keyword density.
Also include your keyword in the first sentence of your article summary. You will also list it in your tags.
What Are Backlinks?
After you have finished your article, you should create backlinks to your article. Backlinks are links that point back to your article from another website. The more backlinks an article has, the more popular that article will appear in the eyes of the search engines, and the higher they will rank it.
Anchor Text Backlinks
Wherever possible, you should create anchor text backlinks pointing back to your article, using your article keyword as the anchor text. So if your keyword is "dog biting" the anchor text should be created with these words. This way, when your link points back to your article from another website, it also points back to the keyword.
Using the above strategies is very simple and will greatly increase the exposure of your internet marketing articles. You will be able to notice how your articles gain rank in a very short time.

Some things you need to keep in mind when designing your site
Body: The Web is a foam of ever-popping bubbles, ever-changing shopwindows, a fascinating world where reality is compressed and presented in a browser – basically a window for looking sequentially at a very large parallel structure. It is therefore very important how content is put forward to the user. We get better design when we understand our medium. Yet even at this late cultural hour, many people don’t understand web design.
Web design is not book design, it is not poster design, it is not illustration, and the highest achievements of those disciplines are not what web design aims for.
So what is web design?
Web design is the creation of digital environments that facilitate and encourage human activity; reflect or adapt to individual voices and content; and change gracefully over time while always retaining their identity. Great web designs are like great buildings. All office buildings, however distinctive, have lobbies and bathrooms and staircases. Websites too share commonalities.
Although a great site design is completely individual, it is also a great deal like other site designs that perform similar functions. The same is true of great magazine and newspaper layouts. Understanding this, and yet making your website stand out amongst the million similar pages is our objective.
One of the first things that one needs to decide, long before the analysis, design and implementation, is the target audience. With whom are you trying to communicate? It is important define the audience before you even get into any details about what the web site is to do - the "to do" will actually be made a lot clearer once you understand your audience.
The next phase involves figuring out what you are trying to communicate. This is probably one of the most important parts of the design process, and is often compromised on when more focus is on how it’s being communicated; the visual appeal of the website. If done right at the beginning, you will find the website coming together by itself, and the design will not require endless changes and maintenance.
The final phase involves the overall design on the page. Most times, an effort is made to provide as much information as possible, which is good. But at times, this leads to a very cluttered web page that will not be able to hold a viewer’s attention. Keep it simple. Providing links could be a solution to the problem of having to display lots of content. Making navigation within the site easy and distributing content over the entire window also adds to the appeal of a webpage.
A balanced approach that takes into account the content and the need for an aesthetic visual appeal will give you a great way to express yourself and make your content reach a wider audience.

Getting Your Site Ranked on Search Engines
Getting your site ranked in the search engines is a topic that many are interested in. Everyone wants to be on the front page of Google or Yahoo. The higher your SERP (Search Engine Ranking Presence) is the more traffic your website will get. It seems that new books are coming out each and every day with ways to get your site ranked quickly and people are rushing to them hoping they are the next best thing.
I have been in the internet market for several years and I have seen the new ideas come and go. I admit that some of them seem to work better than others and many probably work much better than mine, but I have a system I have used for several years and it has proven a winner for me. I use all "white hat" techniques. The search engines are developed so well they can usually pick up on the people that are using automated software and while your site may make it to the top of the search engines quickly, they die about as fast.
One of the things that is rarely mentioned is getting your page ranked on one of the major search engines is not something that will happen overnight, especially if your domain is new. I have had new domains that made it on the front page in a couple of weeks, but had to work very hard at it and the competition for the words was not that tough.
Where To Start?
If you are trying to make a website to sell a product, the first place to start is your keywords. There are several free tools available today that will allow you to research keywords. What you want to try and find are words that describe your product that don't have a ton of competition. This is the most difficult part of the journey in my opinion. Once you have found a few keywords, you are ready to begin.
Domain or No Domain?
I have had friends that have done very well with free blog sites like Word Press and Blogger, but I have personally had better luck purchasing my domain. I will typically get a domain and set up hosting as soon as I have found my keywords as it can take up to 24hrs for hosting to get set up. One thing to note is make sure that your host provider has the ability to install Word Press if you are planning on a blog type site.
Setting Up The Site
I almost always install some type of Word Press site. For some reason Google love Word Press. I have had Word Press sites rank much quicker than other sites. Word Press is free to use and they offer thousands of templates to choose from. You can even set up sites that look like static sites with some of the Word Press templates.
The Site is set up.. Now What?
You want to post 4 to 5 articles to your newly set up site. If you have your Word Press set up correctly, it is pinging the search engines on every post. Once your articles are posted on your site, it is time to announce it to the world. You can do this in a number of ways. One big way is to comment in forums and get links, another is to write articles to the free article directors. If you are promoting a product with your new site, write an article about it and make sure to mention your website in the author section.
Now that you have it going, just keep posting messages or pages to your site. In the beginning I try to add at least one post per day to keep the search engines pinged. Once you see your site start to get indexed, you can slack that down to once every couple of days if you want.
If you follow these simple steps your site should start getting traffic within a couple of weeks to a month. It isn't a fast process to get consistent traffic to your site. Most people give up before they ever see the fruit of their labor, but if you just hang in there... Keep posting articles, making posts to your website and commenting on forums your site will get big attention. Once it starts getting noticed, it will be like pouring gasoline on a fire... the traffic will just keep coming in.

SMO Instead of SEO
If you are tired of hearing the term SEO (search engine optimization) maybe you should start to focus on SMO. SMO, or social media optimization, is an exciting way to breathe new life into any website, even those that have been left on the back burner for a few years.
SMO utilizes the power of people to drive traffic to a website. At the conception of the Internet, only businesses had the money and computer power to build and host websites. Today, it takes literally five minutes to build a website and only a few more to upload some PLR content. These cookie cutter websites are not going to rank in the Google or Yahoo top 10, but they represent how easy it is to build a generic website out of nothing.
The real gold in website building today is SMO. With the popularity of FaceBook, Twitter and other social networks, the webmaster or business needs to ensure their content can be readily shared easily. the SHARE button can be added quickly to website content, but is your content worthy of being shared?
The Pro of SMO is the Con
The power of user generated content is developing rapidly, but with that growth is the need to deliver content that search engines love and the user will want to share with their friends and family. How can both be accomplished?
Description - The description posted just above the article is the first line of site for the search engine bots and the reader. This small paragraph needs to include the relevant keyword and attract the reader to read on. The reason this section is so very important is the fact that when the article is published to a social network, it is usually the snippet that is included for others to read. If they like the description, they will click through to your website.
The articles shared on social networks are not indexed by search engines, but that does not mean they don't count as a backlink (considering a new definition for the word). The article is linking back to your website and with search engine advances soon could be considered a viable backlink. What happens when the Google algorithm decides to include social links? Will your website be ready?
Questions to Ask Yourself and Your Website
In an effort to better understand how SMO can help a website, ask yourself these simple questions.
1) Where can I find people who are interested in my niche?
2) Where is sharing a link considered a GREAT thing?
3) What is the most popular form of communication online right now?
The answers to all of these questions is the social network. Building a brand online when there are millions of daily active viewers who sign on just to read what other people are doing is the right choice for today's Internet.
I Don't Have the Time to Backlink with SMO
There are usually fewer hours in the day than the marketer needs to establish the "right" number of backlinks and as we all know, quality backlinks take time. Link building services are changing and expanding to include social media and networks. Help is there for those who find another marketing avenue just too time consuming.

3 Ways to Get More Search Engine Traffic Right Now
The reality is that some of the best traffic on the Internet comes from the free search engines. In this article I want to show you 3 ways you can get those visitors to come to your site and buy what you're selling in no time flat!
Secret #1:
You need to first stop trying to rank for keywords that are really competitive. The biggest mistake that people make is they will go after the highest trafficked volume keyword in the market and think they are doing the right thing.
What you need to understand is that even though it has the highest volume of visitors, it also has the highest volume of competition as well.
So don't go after the big words as they won't bring you visitors for a really long time! Focus on the small keywords that get traffic and are easy to rank for.
Secret #2:
Start buying banner ads from sites in your market. The reason is that you will get visitors from the banners & you will also get higher rankings on the search engines as well. The reason is that you can links from the sites you bought banner ads on.
Once Google sees you have links and they are really good quality - your going to get more and more rankings.
Secret #3:
Move into a new market! If you can't get traffic in the market you are in, then find a new market and try and get the free visitors coming to your site in that market.

You Don’t Need a Website To Be A Blogger
Anyone who can type can become a blogger. There are free sites (like Blogger.com) which make it possible to set up your own blog, and host it without having to buy a domain name or pay for a hosting account. In fact, homeless people even use blogs to improve their situations and communicate with the outside world. If you do have a website of your own, adding a blog has definite advantages in the eyes of the search engines, and you can leverage your blog into a traffic generator, customer service portal, and claim to fame, all at the same time.
For example, the aforementioned Blogger.com is owned by Google, and allows people to post updates onto a Blogger profile or directly onto their own sites. Every time a new post is published, Blogger will FTP (file transfer) the new posting onto your own hosting account, in a folder that is separate from the nuts and bolts of your website. You can alter the template of you blog so it has the same look and feel as the rest of your site, and only a savvy reader will know that you’re using Blogger. We use it for our own blog, it’s free, and we have seen our blog entries end up in Google within a few minutes of publication. Wordpress is also a very popular blog application, and has quite a few bells and whistles of its own.
What are the advantages to having a blog? From a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) standpoint, blogs are a fast way to add fresh content to your site. Each blog entry ends up on its own page, and you don’t have to pay a webmaster (or rewrite your site code) every time you make a new post. If you have new information that may be of interest to the general public, you can post a blog entry with text and/or pictures and then send the blog link to people in your network. You can even serve up contextual ads on your blog (through channels like Google Adsense) so you have the potential to make money through blogging. As a disclaimer, blogging for money should not be considered a money making career path, but there are quite a few people who do sponsored reviews for a few dollars per post.
There are plenty of business and personal advantages to blogging, but it does take a bit of time and effort. If you’re considering the blogging route, you should be aware that there are quite a few bloggers out there, given that the only barriers to entry in the blogging world might be a library card or the ability to borrow some time on a computer. Blogs become more popular when they are updated frequently with interesting topics. A little promotional work is also in order, so you will want to start by drawing attention to your blog, either by sending a link to friends and family, or to other sources if you don’t want your friends and family to know what you’re up to. If you’re a business, you can send blog links to your vendors, add blog links to your Twitter Posts and Facebook updates, or send out emails to customers. Once you get the ball rolling, you can even ask your readers to suggest topics, or go into depth on certain issues. Blogs are definitely a great channel for people who want to bring attention to themselves and their websites, and worth the small amount of time it takes to set one up.

You Can Build A Professional Website Without A Web Designer
Do you remember when developing a website was the stuff of an elite core of techno-geeks who understood a language called html? Other computer languages have been added to the mix, which has placed the personal development of a website among the stuff of myths and legends.
It can seem almost too good to be true when you hear that it may be possible to develop a website even if you have had no previous skills at website development.
If you have ever worked with word processing software, signed up for an email account or other similar programs you mat be overqualified to develop your own website.
The use of a comprehensive line of website building technology places you in a world of template rich web design along with an easy to follow and customize format. This is a world where you call the shots.
I suppose there may be some who feel that using web-building technology results in an inferior design with a lack of function and beauty. However, the hard work of design is taken care of in many web design options allowing you to simply work on developing data points.
When you develop a website using web building technology you can make instantaneous changes to your website from any Internet compatible computer through an online, password protected website.
The cost difference between a traditional web designer and an online web building option can be substantial. It is not uncommon to spend Multiplied thousands of dollars to develop a website utilizing traditional web design options. When using web building options you may discover a site that may actually be superior with a cost factor that may be less than 10% of the cost of hiring a designer.
This does not take into account the various add-ons that you will be required to pay for when you hire a web designer. These elements can add hundreds of dollars to the cost of web design using a traditional web designer. In many cases web building options allow you to gain access to a shopping cart, newsletter templates, autoresponders and more.
Interestingly when a traditional web designer completes a site you may be required to work with the designer on each and every change that needs to be made. What happens when the site designer is unavailable or has a backlog of other sites that need to be done? On the other hand a web designer could set your website up so that you could change virtually every aspect of the site. How is this then different from web building technology?

Making the Most of Effective Blog Design
Blogging has become an excellent method of drawing more and more traffic and interested parties toward your site. With the introduction of business blogging, more people have found that their business has not only increased, but they have a stronger understanding of what their clientele is seeking and are more able to deliver the needs and wants of their clientele.
Making full use of a blog includes the design factors that play a role in how attractive and user friendly the blog may be. Using templated material is one option, but often bloggers are looking for more than just the basics.
Product reviews that hit the blog give the consumer an interesting perspective. Since blogging is generally considered to be an outlet of expression no matter what the actual company might be, users feel that they are getting someone's genuine experience. It may or may not affect their decisions about using that company's products, but the user reviews play a vital role in adding credibility to your site.
Bloggers will be attracted to a site that offers them more than just content. While content is also extremely important, the design factors are also important. Give consideration to whether or not you are going to encourage external links and trade links with other blogs, as this gives the user a feeling of complete participation and avenues to finding more information. Give consideration to the basic layout and design factor. When using color, be wary of using any color combination that might be difficult for the eyes to adjust to if the user is colorblind, or if the user's computer screen doesn't filter color in the normal fashion. Make sure that you receive ample varying honest opinions if you are going to go bold and grab some color. What you might think is attractive and will pull users in might actually turn quite a few users off instead.
The use of customized banners is a good idea. It allows you to stand out a little, and it also gives you a visual effect of having complete ownership of the blog. Allowing the blogging company's banner to stay visual creates the attitude that the blog is just tossed up there and this can be a turn off. People who participate want to feel as though their participation matters. Thus feeling like the blog is personal to someone out there on the internet creates the feeling that their participation is wanted and valued.
Adding photos is a great way to personalize, but keep the photos professional. Nobody wants to see photographs of your kids or your pets on a blog that focuses on serious issues. Save those for your personal blog and give more consideration to your business blog photos. Of course, you are proud of your kids and your pets, but when you are handling business affairs, there are plenty of people who find that it has no relevance. The use of artistic and tasteful photographs is generally more appropriate for business related affairs.
Bordering your photographs presents a more professional look. Choosing simple and creatively tasteful borders for your photographs keeps the professional look while adding something a little personal and meaningful to you.
Use your own skills to grab from a wide variety of easily downloadable templates that can add to your blog. If you grab one template from here and a skin from there and use textures from another site you can personalize and create a totally unique blog site. It is actually rather simple to do and it gives you the power to craft a totally individual blog site. Use your imagination while keeping it professional. Don't be afraid to do something different. Don't be afraid to gather opinions on the blog site before launching. Asking people to evaluate what you put together allows you a little insight into what users might think of your blog. Remember that you are trying to attract as many users as possible. That means you want to appeal to a wide variety of users. What is attractive to one might not be attractive to another. But you can usually find a sweet middle ground of you spend the time and energy to gather opinions and create something totally unique.
Keep you users involved through the use of RSS feeds. These are simple to add and are useful in keeping those who visit you once coming back over and over again. The more information you are able to hand over, the more you are able to motivate people to come back, the more you are going to have complete participation. Remember that most people have a limited amount of time for daily blogging. RSS feeds make it easier for them to choose where and how to spend their time.
Adding audio is becoming more and more popular. Audio doesn't have to be terribly intricate, but it can seriously enhance your blog. The use of background audio or the use of sound effect audio can create an environment that brings bloggers back and keeps them there longer. Often it is the simple things that make a total and complete difference.
Go for the Google Adsense additions. Make sure that they are easily located by your readers but that nothing hinders your users from being able to fully read and participate. Your blog can be a valuable asset, make sure you check things out from every angle.

How to Choose the Right Web Template
If you are anxious to get your website off the ground, you may just want to choose to download a web template and get going right away! This is just fine: but keep in mind that not all web templates are created equal, so here are some tips to help you choose the right web template the first time and avoid regret later.
-- Choose the web template maker carefully: there are plenty of fly-by-night operations out there that offer "free" templates that are either not free at all or are pretty lousy. Go with one of the bigger names out there such as Joomla or Dreamweaver and you will be guaranteed to be getting high quality and support.
-- Download your template from a company that offers plugins if you want to make adjustments later. Never say never when it comes to designing your page: you just may want to add a slide show carousel feature later or that scrolling text you saw somewhere else and really liked. Using a static template that cannot be modified over time is not showing foresight: choose a company from whom you can purchase a wide variety of plugins later to keep your site looking just the way you want it to.
-- Don't go for busy. No matter how attractive that template with the busy background looks when you download it, once you fill it with content the background will be a distraction. The background and content will be in constant competition for the attention of your site's visitors and they will eventually just give up and go elsewhere where the content is clearer and the format is simpler.
-- Beware of flashing banners and too much animation. Potential visitors to your site will be turned off if they have to wait a while for it to load. Even people with the fastest connection available hate to wait. A little Flash here and there is a good thing, but too much is a real turn off and, quite frankly, it makes your site look tacky and unprofessional.
-- Watch the colors: did you know that different colors have different meanings all over the world? Since white is the color of mourning in India, too much of it might not be a good thing if you are marketing products in that country. Blue is the safest color to use and it implies dignity, which is why it is commonly used on bankers' and lawyers' sites. If you want to keep the color scheme lighthearted because the tone suits your site, go ahead. Just make sure that the content font color contrasts nicely with the background and is easy to read. Do some research about the psychological effects of color on the web before downloading your template, and you'll have a better idea if your personal preferences are appropriate.

XsitePro Vs Blogging - Who is the Best?
I've been a fan of blogging for a number of years but there are just some aspects to using a blog interface that becomes extremely tiresome after a while. Today I'm going to take a look at three reasons why XsitePro is better and far more profitable in the long term than blogging.
Reason One:
Blogging involves consistent updating not only of your blog content but also of the interface itself. In wordpress for example you need to include so many add ons or plug-ins to the get the benefits of a static html site. To make matters worse when updates are required, some of the plug-ins don't work any longer which causes several problems to the way your blog displays to your readers.
Reason Two:
Blogs display the date and time at which your content was written. It is common knowledge that if you see content written 2 years prior you tend to automatically click the back button. Static sites can have content written 10 years prior that is still read today. Blogging is almost like reading a newspaper, why would you read a paper that was dated Jan 2002?
Reason Three:
Duplicate content has been on the cards since blogging came to the web. Yes you can get plug-ins to solve the problem but why bother with something that you don't need to consider in the beginning. XsitePro can produce better quality seo websites which will far out weigh the income of a blog in the long term. Yes I do think blogs are great for getting traffic in the initial stages but over time your content is wasted because it appears to be out dated.

If you work with coaches, or real estate agents, make sure that you mention that in your copy.
2. Use Your Customer's Vocabulary - What do people type in to Google when looking for you? You can find this by using Google's free keyword tracker software. Also, find where your audience hangs out online, follow them on twitter, what words are they using to describe the problem you solve. Write your website in terms of describing the problem (and your solution) rather than just writing about what you do.
3. Headlines Count - Use headline tags <h1><h2> in your code to break up your text - but also to highlight important ideas. Use the keywords your customers use to find you in your headlines if it makes sense. Search Engine Tips For a Good Ranking
This article contains search engine ranking tips that you can use the next time you are on the net looking for information on a particular topic or when you want an answer to a question. One of the search engine ranking tips is to be sure to check the top results in your list as these are probably the closest you will get to the information you want. Also in search engine ranking, make sure all the key words you type in are included in the result. Then, read the whole content of the result if possible as this will indicate to you whether the result will be useful or not. Lastly, settle on results that include reliable web sites.
Once you have typed in your key words or word in the search box, look out for the first few or the top three results that your search engine lists out. Once you double check that your key words are included, you are free to browse the sites. Most likely, these are the results from the list that are the closest to what you are looking for in your search engine ranking. You will probably find specific information on your topic of interest and it is up to you to sort through and see if you require it.
The other search engine ranking tips are to make sure all your key words are also included in the results and to read the whole content of the result list to make sure that it is what you are looking for. Sometimes, the positioning of words can change the meaning of the information and so therefore, it is important to get the 'whole story' rather than just looking for key words in the result list.
Then, when search engine ranking, you might want to pick those results which have reliable web sites. Otherwise, you might not be able to access the information you want as that particular web site will say that the 'page has expired' or that the page 'cannot be accessed'. To avoid such incidents, look at the results and scroll down the page carefully for web sites or home pages of the companies and institutions that you are looking for.

2. Onliest selling points: - Try to think of a unique fact or feature that truly places your company above all the others. Is your product or service really superior from the ones offered by competition? Is it offered at a lower price than your competitor? Maybe the warranty you are offering lasts longer or the product can be delivered the same day.
3. Targeting the right market:- One of the best ways to find out on targeting the right market is by looking at the demographics such as age, marital status, sex, job title or geographic region of t he country and this can be done by opting for search, using Google, Yahoo or another search engine, using "demographics" as the main keyword. Search Engine Optimization and Reciprocal Links
SEO is a delicate balance between on page optimization and off site popularity. One way of quickly increasing your Google ranking is to build effective links back to your pages, a long debated subject is the effectiveness of reciprocal links. Google's advice is to generate back links that are natural in creation, this is why there is a big question mark over reciprocal links.
A reciprocal link is when you link to another page and a mirror link points back to your page, however this is not the only type of reciprocal link. Many sites have a links page, this is used to build links pointing to various sites around the web in return for a link back to the home page, it is also know as a link farm and is punished significantly by the engines.
A very popular way of building links is to exchange links with popular directories . In my opinion this is an ineffective way of building links. Remember Google wants these links to be natural and listing your page with a directory in return for a link back is not a natural link to your site. It is artificial and Google is not going to award this link the same as it would a naturally acquired link.
If you're going to build reciprocal links then there is only one real way to accomplish this naturally. Firstly you need to publish quality content on your own site, once you have done this search for other articles, blog posts and forum threads around the web to potentially consider exchanging links with.
For a link to be natural it needs to be relevant and of the highest quality, think to yourself, if Google were to review this link manually would they see anything wrong with it? If you can honestly answer no to this then you are on the right tracks. Even though this is a natural way of building a reciprocal link Google is always going to give a one way link more weight, this is because it is almost guaranteed to have been awarded because of quality and usefulness.
Another aspect you need to worry about it is the depth of links. Reciprocal links are never going to look natural if they all point back to the home page of a site. Try to build your links to deep pages of your site, this will help your overall domain profile and increase rank on deeper pages.

Backlinks For Search Engine Optimization - How Important Are They?
Backlinks are the hot topic in search engine optimization articles. All the search engine consulting experts talk about the importance of backlinks for achieving higher search engine ranking. That's because the more one-way backlinks you have leading to your website, the more important the search engines believe your page is.
There are two types of backlinks: one-way links and reciprocal links.
One-Way Links are basically backlinks that only go one direction. Maybe it's a link that goes from your website to another website. Or maybe it's a link that goes from another site to yours. Either way, it's only going one way.
Reciprocal Links are backlinks that go from one website to another, and then back to the original website.
It's important to differentiate between one-way back links versus reciprocal links. Many search engine optimization experts believe that one-way back links are more valuable than reciprocal links because they're much harder to earn. The thinking is that since they're harder to earn, they must be more valuable, which means other people think very highly of your site. And if people think very highly of your site, it must be an important site, which means the search engines will give it a higher rank than those sites that don't have a lot of one-way backlinks.
As search engines like Google grow and improve, they're putting more emphasis on how popular a website is, not whether they use all the right keywords. This popularity is measured through one-way backlinks. They're like votes to Google, and search engine ranking is more like a popularity contest: have a lot of links to your site and your site achieves a high ranking.
The easiest way to find the number of backlinks that lead to your site is to visit Google or Yahoo! and type in the following command:
link:www.yourwebsite.com
You will be shown a list of all the websites that have backlinks to your own domain. If you want to see who has links back to a particular page on your site, then put in the full URL to that individual page.
Although no one can be sure of the exact algorithm Google and Yahoo use to rank sites, it's commonly believed that if a website has more backlinks, it will achieve a higher search engine ranking. There are other factors that go into the whole search engine ranking, but backlinks are one of the more important ones.
But it's important you have good quality backlinks, not just links that appear on any page you can find, like a link farm or sticking a comment on a page that has nothing to do with your website at all. That is, if you sell hammers, don't put any backlinks on a page that sells women's shoes.
That's because search engines like Google have started cracking down on link farms and backlinks spammers. The search engine spiders know how to tell the difference between backlinks on a link farm and links on a quality website. And if you're caught spamming, you'll be dropped in the ranks, or possibly even dropped completely from Google's index.
So you need to pay attention to the quality of your backlinks, now more than ever. One way to do this is to make sure you use the proper anchor text in your backlinks. For example, don't ever hot link the words "click here." What you're basically telling the search engine spiders is that the website is about Click Here. Instead, use the keywords about the site that the backlinks are leading to. If you're creating backlinks to a site about hammers, put the word hammers in your links. "Click here" is not about hammers.
In short, if you want some great search engine results, be sure to include backlinks as part of your search engine optimization strategy. You'll see it pay off with improved search engine rankings.
There are two types of backlinks: one-way links and reciprocal links.
One-Way Links are basically backlinks that only go one direction. Maybe it's a link that goes from your website to another website. Or maybe it's a link that goes from another site to yours. Either way, it's only going one way.

Working Online - Endless Possibility
Start a typical brick-and-mortar enterprise, hire your staff, buy your supplies, pay the light bill, put a sign up for passersby, advertise in the local paper and media, get an ad in the Yellow Pages and start sending out direct mail materials. Start-up cost: $20,000 (before monthly overhead). Potential reach of marketing campaigns: a few thousand people. Time to return on your investment: minimum TWO YEARS.
Now compare the typical internet startup. Build out a website or landing page, set up a marketing funnel, buy a domain name, utilize internet marketing strategies to generate leads. No inventory, no payroll, minimal overhead. Start-up cost: $20,000. Minimal monthly overhead. Potential reach of marketing campaigns: 1.5 BILLION people. Time to return on your investment: a few months.
That's the power of the internet. Very little startup cost, very little overhead, a little bit of strategy, and it's all gravy. See the reason this idea has been catching on?
Buy into a traditional franchise or brick-and-mortar startup and you are instantly married to your job. The idea of a vacation goes out the window. You're still commuting to work every day, but now you're waiting to see some kind of benefit from all that effort. Work online, though, and now you can work anywhere, anytime - from Boston to Bermuda to Bangladesh.
What sets net-preneurs apart from traditional business owners? Often it's simply a matter of vision. The online marketer is capable of seeing a wider picture of what is actually going on in the world of internet business. The playing field truly is leveled between the online entrepreneur and everyone else. Set up a traditional business and there is no such thing as a level playing field. You are immediately forced into hard-line competition mode.
Working online offers virtually unlimited growth potential, or potential that is limited only by imagination. Interestingly enough, the secrets of internet marketing are OUT THERE FOR THE TAKING. Top earners are willing to share the insight for what it takes to build out a complete business. I started with absolutely zero knowledge about internet marketing, coming from the typical corporate background. But after working through an outstanding mentoring program and utilizing the education tools available, it only took two months to be generating money-making results online. TWO MONTHS. This exact system is available to everyone out there to learn and duplicate.
I have to wonder what holds people back from doing this. Some see the value of a great opportunity like this instantly. They dive right in and start building successful online businesses. For others, skepticism holds them back from taking the next step. There's a definite difference between those with the true internet entrepreneurial spirit and those who 'window shop' online business ideas. One waits for something to happen, the other goes out and MAKES it happen. Had I been unwilling to take the risk and take that next step, I'd still be sitting in an office working in an environment that left me worn out and frustrated every single day. There's no way to describe what true freedom feels like.
Has it been easy? No. This has been work. Has it been worth it? I would never dream of going back.
As time goes on, my efforts become more and more about surrounding myself with people who have extraordinary attitudes. People who are proactive and willing to learn something new that has the potential to completely change their lives. I also want to talk to those who've already built successful businesses. If you're an entrepreneur at heart, then I see you as a kindred spirit and we have something to discuss. If I can do this, there is no reason that absolutely anyone else cannot duplicate the success I've enjoyed through an internet system that cannot be beat.

How to Promote Your Network Marketing Home Business
The key to any network marketing home business is promotion, and the only difference between an in person business and Internet business is the way that you conduct your business. Instead of being face to face with the people, everything is conducted over the Internet including the training and salesmanship. The only time you may interact in a personal way is if the line of sponsorship that heads your organization decides to arrange a sales meeting or convention.
It's important to remember that promotion is the most important part of your business, and for your business to be successful, you have to promote, promote, promote. There are several ways you can accomplish that, but the most important promotional tool you have is in your ranking with the search engines, that allows people to find your website in a search, especially Google, which tends to be the search engine of choice for many people. Accomplishing this means making sure that your site is optimized for the search engines, a process called Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
It may cost a little bit to do, but it's worth it in the end because SEO will guarantee that your website gets top ranking with the search engines, thus a better chance that it will come up early in a search.
Of course, before you even think about SEO, you have to make sure that you submit your website to the search engines so that they know it exists. Several services are available that allow you to do this for free. If you wish to submit it to more, you can purchase a premium package that allows you to submit your site to hundreds of search engines, directories, and free for all pages. The more places that you submit your site, the better the chance that someone will visit your site and want to join your network. If not, you will at least find people who are interested in the product or products you are selling and become a customer. That, of course, is one of the underlying keys to network marketing, that those who are not interested in the business will be interested in buying its products.
Another means for promoting your business is to place a classified ad. There are a number of sites that are free, so there is no need to spend an enormous amount of money advertising your business. In addition, there are email groups and newsletters where you can advertise your business as well. You just want to be careful not to spam because many network marketing organizations will cancel your membership for spamming; they offer specific guidelines concerning the acceptable forms of business promotion, and if you deviate from that, you lose whatever time and money you have invested.

Making Money with Twitter and Clickbank
With the worldwide web constantly evolving, it was only a matter of age before people found a way to earn some extra money completely online. Two of the ways in which people are doing this are through Clickbank and Twitter.
Clickbank is somewhat of a one stop shop for those who are trying to start off a home based business venture. The website hosts peoples' products and offers affiliates a chance to sell these products for a commission.
Twitter is a blogging and social networking website, where users put up and send messages called tweets. Your tweets are shown on your profile and all those who subscribe to your page are known as followers, who receive your tweets.
Making Money with Twitter
Naturally, you will need to create a Twitter account if you haven't already. Signing up is free and simple. After you do this you will have to spend some time to build up followers, and you can do this in few ways.
The simplest is to follow as many people as you like, because the odds are that they will check out your page and follow you right back.
The other technique requires some creativity on your part. You need to create for yourself a niche and make it an interesting one. You will grab people's attention, your tweets will become popular and therefore you will gain more followers.
Having lots of followers is important because it makes your account more valuable. This means that companies will be fond of using your account to advertise their products, resulting in you pocketing more money. If this happens, you are likely to get offers to use your Twitter account to send out short ads for a payment. If you have around 1,000 followers, you can make as much as $1.00 for every tweet. This can be quite a bundle of cash, which will only increase as you get more followers.
Making Money with Clickbank
Clickbank also requires you to make an account on the website. You can then roam about their marketplace until you find a product that you want to promote. You should ideally pick one that has a 'gravity' of 50 or higher, which simply means that it will potentially be a popular product.
Now you move on to advertising the product. The easiest, cheapest option is to go with article marketing. This is when you create articles about why your product should be bought. Once your article is ready to be released, you need to make sure it is well publicized. You can turn to a few sites to achieve this. You can obviously submit them to any number of sites as well.
To make sure people visit these articles, visit to social bookmarking sites and then submit the link that leads to your article in any of the above sites. This way, you have increased odds of your articles turning up in any search engine, giving you more and more views, and thereby more and more money.
